Lysaker Torg 45 office. lysaker. norway. 2020

Lysaker Torg 45 has undergone an extensive renovation and transformation of the building’s layout and internal flow. The ambition was to build on the existing qualities while introducing new solutions that enhance the building’s functionality and user value. With a new main entrance and shared functions at ground level, the building is now more strongly connected to the square and its surroundings. Openings between floors bring daylight down to the new cafeteria, while a new staircase leads to upgraded bicycle parking, locker rooms, and a workshop in the basement.

In collaboration with the architectural office Rebuilding and KLP, DIFK has been responsible for the technical design and integration of new structural solutions, as well as the construction of the new entrance. The result is an open and inviting entrance area with seamless connections between functions and a clear architectural upgrade.
